We represent the Government as well as private organizations in construction litigation.
We advise on various facets of Construction, EPC and other types of building contracts, devising strategies in relation to approaches to be adopted for any issues that may arise from breach of contracts, issues relating to retention money, delay mitigation, levy of penalties, price escalation, price adjustment, variations, indemnity, claims regarding maintenance contracts and claims for damages. We also advise on the way forward for termination of contract, Invocation of Mobilisation Guarantees and Performance Guarantees, modes of dispute resolution, proceedings before dispute resolution board and Arbitration.
We are also involved in drafting and vetting of communications for breach of contract, Supplementary Agreement/s, mitigation of delay, claim building and mitigation, invocation of mobilisation guarantees and performance guarantees and dispute resolution. We have in the past advised companies on preparation of Claims, drafting of correspondences in relation to claims, devising defences / strategies to counter claims and preparation of such reports for clients. We have successfully represented various contractors in claims pertaining to construction contracts in securing favourable outcome.
